Trap Neuter Return
Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) Program
Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) is a vital program that helps manage free-roaming and feral cats. Cats living outdoors are humanely trapped, evaluated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered by veterinarians, and then returned to their original location.
Animal Humane fully supports TNR as the most humane and effective way to manage feral cat colonies.
This service is free of charge for feral, community cats only. Owned cats do not qualify. To participate, cats must be checked in between 7:00–7:30 am (no check-ins after 7:30 am) and must arrive/leave in a Feral Cat Trap.
If you have questions before requesting an appointment, please check out our FAQ.
Our TNR program is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Zimmer Community Foundation.
