At Animal Humane New Mexico, our care for your pet continues after adoption. Through our Post Adoption Wellness Support (PAWS) program, qualifying pets receive essential veterinary and behavioral care for one year—helping your new companion stay healthy, happy, and thriving at home. 

Benefits of Adopting a Pet Through Our PAWS Program: 

• Free annual wellness exam
• Vaccines & boosters (core only) 
• Preventive care (flea/tick/heartworm) 
• One complimentary visit for common illnesses (infections, diarrhea, etc.) * 
• One complimentary dental procedure if needed* 
• One complimentary urgent care exam for accidents, illness, injuries* 
• One year of unlimited care for pre-existing conditions* 
• Unlimited tech visits for nail trims, anal gland expressions, potty trails, etc.
