6-week course of training
Developed from detection dog training, this is a fun companion dog activity that ANY dog can do! It is fun for the dogs and fun for the handlers. Scent work comes very naturally to dogs: one-third of a dog’s brain processes are devoted to olfaction. Dogs will begin searching for food and toys. This activity is a huge confidence booster for the shy or reactive dog. It is also great for dogs that may have physical challenges or older dogs. It is a fantastic energy burner for adolescent dogs!
Box work, searches in and out of boxes, and elevations will be introduced in this Nose Games for Fun class. No obedience training is required.
This class will be taught by Jennifer Allen, KPA-CTP.
