If your pet has had a basic manners class and you would like to do more, this is the class for you! Learn how to build advanced skills with your pet that can either put you on track for starting in canine sports (Agility, Rally, Obedience or Freestyle), getting your pet’s CGC  (Canine Good Citizen) certification, performing fun tricks, or just creating wonderful and reliable behaviors. This class will teach more advanced skills through clicker training, a great communication tool. You will learn the basics of shaping new behaviors: how to take simple steps and build them into complex behaviors. We’ll cover important and fun advance training basics such as targeting, directional cues, working with distance, and much more.

Open for dogs ages 5 months and older.

Must have completed Puppy Preschool, Civilized Canine, 505 Pit Crew or other basic manners class.

Familiarity with clicker training is extremely helpful but not required.

Cost: $100
Animal Humane Adopter Cost: $75
Tuesday nights, 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Class will begin March 17.

First night is human-only orientation.
