6-week introduction to Agility for dogs ages 6 months and up.
This 6-week course provides an introduction to agility, the fastest-growing dog sport. It is a great way to strengthen your dog’s basic obedience skills while learning new behaviors.
In this fun and light-hearted setting you will begin to teach your dog the beginning skills of agility. Agility obstacles are introduced and handlers will learn basic handling moves to get around an agility course. Your dog will learn to work on moving or elevated surfaces, run through tunnels, and attend to your body language as you direct him over jumps. Your bond will strengthen as your dog learns to pay attention to you around other dogs. Agility activities are wonderful for both physical and mental stimulation for you and your dog, and this class will focus on some of the special physical needs of growing puppies.
Open for dogs ages 6 months and up.
