2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the New Mexico Humane Conference, the Southwest’s forum for educational and networking opportunities in animal welfare. Our comprehensive sessions are open to animal welfare professionals, animal control officers, veterinarians, veterinary technicians, animal rescue groups, animal trainers and anyone interested in learning more about animal welfare. Our wide range of engaging topics encourage participants to both learn and collaborate with others in our field.

During this 2-day conference, we’ll explore how to engage community support to improve our work!

Keynote Speaker: Amy Mills, CEO, Emanicipet

Amy Mills has spent her career creating social change to improve the lives of the underserved. In 2006, Amy became CEO of Emancipet, a nonprofit on a mission to make spay/neuter and preventive veterinary care affordable and accessible for all pet owners. She joins us as the Keynote Speaker in August to discuss how animal welfare can have a bigger impact and create social change!

The Humane Conference needs your support.

In 2014, NMHC drew over 200 animal welfare professionals from around New Mexico and from Arizona, Texas, Colorado and Oklahoma. Each year, our conference grows – we are working to make 2015 even bigger and better, but our conference cannot happen without the generous support of our sponsors. Sponsorship is available at many different levels and every sponsorship is vital to our conference’s success! Sponsorship is also the best way to share information about your organization, products or services with passionate animal welfare workers and leaders for the Southwest region. Your company will be recognized on conference materials, our website and through social media and, best of all, through networking opportunities with our attendees. .
