Cats Around Town

Cats Around Town (CAT) is an off-site adoption program created to help re-home adult cats outside the typical shelter environment. Animal Humane teams up with local cat-loving businesses and places adoptable felines in their stores. This increases each cat’s exposure to potential adopters and allows us to care for more homeless pets. Animal Humane supplies CAT partners with everything needed to provide daily care and containment for their visiting felines. Additionally, CAT business partners are equipped to complete adoptions onsite. 

With CAT partners located throughout Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, the program is an integral piece of our Humane Equation and helps us achieve our goal of finding loving, forever homes for every healthy, adoptable pet in our care.
