Foster2Home (F2H) is an innovative program that places dogs and cats which are failing to thrive in a shelter environment into foster care. These are deserving pets which may be suffering from lack of socialization, stress due to length of stay, mild treatable illnesses or behavior deficits. They need a tranquil home setting and a little extra “TLC” to prepare them for adoption. Unlike our short-term foster program where foster pets are returned to our shelter to be adopted, F2H pets are adopted directly from their foster homes and their foster parents act as the adoption agents. Foster2Home is made possible by a generous grant from ASPCA.
