Adoption Fees

We are a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization that receives no city, state or federal funding. We rely on revenue we generate to care for more than 5,000 pets annually. On average, the cost of care for a single pet is $530. Adoption fees help us offset these costs. 

Dogs

  • $150+ for purebreds and highly adoptable
  • $120 for puppies 6 months or younger*
  • $100 for dogs 6 months to 5 years*
  • $35 for large dogs 5 years and older & small dogs 7 years and older

*excluding purebreds and highly adoptable

Cats

  • $75 for kittens six months or younger
  • $15 for cats 7 to 23 months
  • Name Your Price on cats two years and older 

Every pet adopted from Animal Humane has been:

  • spayed/neutered
  • microchipped
  • vaccinated
  • health checked
  • loved
