Sandy Phillips,
Chief Financial Officer
Sandy joined Animal Humane in December, 2010 as Chief Financial Officer, relocating from her native Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with a wealth of business, hands-on and supervisory experience.
She worked for Arthur Andersen & Co., one of the premier accounting and business consulting firms in the country, as well as Rogers, Suleski & Associates, where she served as controller and business advisor to several small and medium-sized companies. Sandy was an accounting supervisor for McDonald's Corporation, where she managed over 50 accounting staff, oversaw the monthly financial close and annual budgeting process.
As a business owner for 7 years, Sandy has a good sense of all aspects of running a successful business venture. Sandy is the proud owner of Duke, a Beagle mix she adopted from Animal Humane!
