Warm Hearts Network

The Warm Hearts Network is a group of trained
volunteers, human service professionals
and dogs who provide Animal Assisted
Activities and Animal Assisted Therapy in our
community. Our human-animal teams are
screened, tested, and then registered to visit
healthcare facilities, schools, senior living and
activity centers, hospice, and others.

Become a Warm Hearts Team

Is your dog friendly, gentle, and well mannered?
If so, you and your dog may work
together to touch the lives of those in need by
being a Warm Hearts team!

To qualify for evaluation, your dog must:

• Be one year or older
• Have been a part of your family for 6 months or more
• Display exceptional behavior and personality traits
• Be extraordinarily tolerant
• Respond quickly and accurately to handler's cues in new environments with distractions
• Enjoy going to new places and meeting new people

If you feel that your pet is ready to begin the initial screening process, please make an appointment for you and your dog to meet with a WHN Evaluator by emailing warmheartsnetwork@animalhumanenm.org
