Party with the Pets at Animal Humane!

Planning a party for an animal-loving child?

Animal Humane offers the perfect opportunity for a truly unique party experience!

During one of our Art with the Animals Parties, kids can spend a fun afternoon in our Marie Claire Bachecchi Training Center. Not only will they have an opportunity to spend some engaging time with some of our campus residents, they will also learn about responsible pet ownership, safety around animals, and express their creative side as they help a shelter animal find a home!

Art with the Animals Party Package

 For kids ages 7-13

During the Art with the Animals Party kids will:

Take a tour of Animal Humane, meet with some of our animal residents, and learn about different aspects of animal care from Animal Humane staff and volunteers.

Select one of our special dogs or cats to sponsor. Party goers will get a chance to name the animal and use their artistic skills to create pictures, flyers and other decorations to place around the animal's dormitory to encourage adoption. The birthday child can have their photo taken with their sponsored animal, have it featured on our website until the animal is adopted and receive an update of the animal in its new home once it is adopted.

We encourage you to supply whatever decorations you would like to use and a cake; we'll supply the pet, art supplies, and educational experience.

The cost of the Art with the Animals Party Package is $150.00 for 2 hours for 10 children and $5.00 for each additional child (maximum of 15 children). $50.00 deposit is due to reserve the space.

• Parties are for children 7-13 years old.
• For safety and supervision reasons, we ask that there be at least one adult for every three children attending the party.
• Parties must be booked at least two weeks in advance of party date.
• For the safety of party-goers, Animal Humane staff will select the animals to attend the party.
• We ask that you arrive at least an hour before the party to decorate and go over party structure and guidelines with a staff member.
• We want to ensure that everyone, both children, adults, and the party pet, enjoy their party experience. Therefore, the animal chosen to attend the party will be handled by trained Animal Humane personnel. If the animal appears to become stressed while at the party, the staff member will immediately remove the animal back to the Doggy Dorms or Kitty Condo for some down time.
