Looking for the perfect family-fun adventure that will benefit homeless pets in our community? Each of the following options makes our daily operations possible.

Support our Pet Food Bank. Animal Humane’s Pet Food Bank distributes 2,000-3,000 pounds of pet food weekly. Our food bank is an excellent resource for pet owners considering relinquishment as their economic situations change. Food bank supplies are also shared with rescue groups statewide as well as homebound senior citizens through the Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs meal delivery program. Food bank donations may be dropped off at 615 Virginia St, SE and be put to work immediately to keep beloved pets in loving homes

Provide Supplies. The following in-kind donations will meet the needs of the hundreds of homeless pets in our daily care.

• Pate' style canned cat food and canned dog food for reward-based behavior training
• Fleece fabric (1 yd. x 1 yd. minimum) to snuggle kittens
• Baby socks to cover the paws of pets during surgery
• Clorox liquid and distilled water (gallon jugs) for use in our Donor-subsidized Veterinary Clinic
• Wash cloths, hand towels and large towels to keep our campus clean and our pets warm
• 9" x 12" x 2.5" stainless steel pans to be used as litter pans in our Foster Care program
• Kitty litter (non-clumping) to keep our feline residents happy

Direct Your Birthday, Housewarming or Anniversary Gifts to Animal Humane: Next time you host a celebration, invite your guests to contribute cat litter, dog toys or monetary contribution to benefit the pets that receive compassionate care, quality medical services and plenty of TLC.
