Jaclyn Sinclair, Volunteer Coordinator
Jaclyn Sinclair is Animal Humane's Volunteer Services and Outreach Manager and hails from Seattle, Washington where she was an attorney practicing family and employment law. In 2001 she retired and moved to Albuquerque with her husband. Soon after arriving they began rescuing Schipperkes and they have placed a number of dogs who were pulled from our shelters or surrendered by their owners into wonderful forever homes. When Peggy, our Executive Director, was with the Alliance for Albuquerque Animals, she recruited Jaclyn to volunteer at the city's Westside shelter, where Jac (her preferred nickname) was a regular for almost three years. From her position "in the trenches" she believes volunteers need to be informed, nurtured, listened to, acknowledged and valued, and she welcomes this opportunity at Animal Humane to serve those who serve the animals. |
